The American Journal of Evaluation (AJE) publishes original papers about the
methods, theory, practice, and findings of evaluation. The general goal of
AJE is to present the best work in and about evaluation, in order to improve
the knowledge base and practice of its readers. Because the field of
evaluation is diverse, with different intellectual traditions, approaches to
practice, and domains of application, the papers published in AJE will
reflect this diversity. Nevertheless, preference is given to papers that are
likely to be of interest to a wide range of evaluators and that are written
to be accessible to most readers. Copia campione gratuita

Gender,
Work and Organization
Gender is a central and essential theme of all social science research in
the field of work and organization. Gender, Work and Organization was the
first journal to bring together wide-ranging research on this theme from a
variety of academic disciplines into a new international forum for debate
and analysis. The journal is dedicated to advancing theory, research and
analytically driven applications concerning gender relations at work, the
organization of gender and the gendering of organizations, including
other aspects of inequality of relevance to gender. Contributions are
invited from all disciplinary perspectives including anthropology, history,
labour economics, law, philosophy, politics, psychology, sociology. The
disciplinary research fields on which the journal draws include organisation
and management theory, cultural studies, discourse theory, employment law
and practice, feminist or post-feminist research, gender studies, human
resource management, industrial relations, labour process and workplace
studies. The journal presents critical and scholarly research, in a clear
and uncomplicated style from a diverse range of fields of inquiry and
provides a platform for academic articles that give focus and credibility to
gender issues.
The range of contributions in Gender, Work
and Organization includes, for example, articles on the problems of
conceptualizing paid and unpaid work, on the varieties of 'masculinity' or 'masculinities',
on the labour process of prostitution, and on the comparative position of
women in professional work in France and Britain. We
expect to publish a Special Issue each year and welcome suggestions from
readers. Special issues have been published on the economics of
equal opportunities and on culture change in organizations. The journal also
includes a regular book review section covering a wide range of
international publications related to gender, work and organization.
Occasional special review articles covering new important areas of the
literature are also published.

Human
Systems Management
Human Systems Management (HSM)
is an international journal addressing the need to understand and shape the
organizational and managerial impact of high technology.
The journal proceeds by seeking to promote an interface of two inseparable
and complementary aspects of managing:
Management of human systems: the science and technology of management,
striving for productivity, efficient performance and technical competence
through effective organization;
Human management of systems: the art of management, linking humans into
productive teams and catalyzing their creative potential through enterprise,
leadership, innovation and participation.
The gap between the new ideas employed by world-class international
management and what is being discussed in traditional business journals is
often large. The latter often contain discussions which practice already
refuted. This is also reflected in inadequate curriculae in business schools.
To reverse this trend, HSM attempts to provide the research, theory and
education commensurate to the needs to today's world-class management. In
other words, the journal aims to study methods which actually are bringing
success in business.

spanning fields such as psychology, marketing, sociology, economics, and

the development of materialistic values).
Journal
of Economic Behavior & Organization
The Journal of Economic
Behavior and Organization is devoted to theoretical and empirical research
concerning economic decision, organization and behavior and to economic
change in all its aspects. Its specific purposes are to foster an improved
understanding of how human cognitive, computational and informational
characteristics influence the working of economic organizations and market
economies and how an economy's structural features lead to various types of
micro and macro behavior, to changing patterns of development and to
institutional evolution. Research with these purposes that explore the
interrelations of economics with other disciplines such as biology,
psychology, law, anthropology, sociology and mathematics is particularly
welcome. The journal is eclectic as to research method; systematic
observation and careful description, simulation modeling and mathematical
analysis are all within its purview. Empirical work, including controlled
laboratory experimentation, that probes close to the core of the issues in
theoretical dispute is encouraged.
Journal
of Economic Psychology
The Journal aims to present
research that will improve understanding of behavioral, especially
socio-psychological, aspects of economic phenomena and processes. The
Journal seeks to be a channel for the increased interest in using behavioral
science methods for the study of economic behavior, and so to contribute to
better solutions of societal problems, by stimulating new approaches and new
theorizing about economic affairs. Economic psychology as a discipline
studies the psychological mechanisms that underlie consumption and other
economic behavior. It deals with preferences, choices, decisions, and
factors influencing these, as well as the consequences of decisions and
choices with respect to the satisfaction of needs. This includes the impact
of external economic phenomena upon human behavior and well-being. Studies
in economic psychology may relate to different levels of aggregation, from
the household and the individual consumer to the macro level of whole
nations. Economic behavior in connection with inflation, unemployment,
taxation, economic development, as well as consumer information and economic
behavior in the market place are thus the major fields of interest.
The Journal of Economic Psychology contains: (a) reports of empirical
research on economic behavior; (b) assessments of the state of the art in
various subfields of economic psychology; (c) articles providing a
theoretical perspective or a frame of reference for the study of economic
behavior; (d) articles explaining the implications of theoretical
developments for practical applications; (e) book reviews; (f) announcements
of meetings, conferences and seminars.
Special issues of the Journal may be devoted to themes of particular
interest. The Journal will encourage exchange of information between
researchers and practitioners by being a forum for discussion and debate of
issues in both theoretical and applied research.
The journal is published under
the auspices of the International Association for Research in Economic
Psychology http://www.ex.ac.uk/IAREP/.

readers at the University of Southern Queensland. It is the intention of the
editors that readership of the JMP will primarily be Faculty of Business and
USQ staff and students. However, works are available to all users of the

A key role of the JMP is to provide a forum
for students, lecturers, and practicing professionals, to share their ideas
and opinions. Where collateral issues of mutual interest and benefit exist,
the lecturers and students of other departments in the university are
invited to submit articles. In this way, the JMP is a mechanism for
releasing ideas to a university readership, with the aim of receiving
feedback on the submission. These submissions which contain observations on
the practice of management, provide valuable contributions to a
university-based corpus of knowledge. In essence then, the JMP provides an
opportunity for exploration and publication across the full range of HRM
areas. In addition, submissions from other fields of management will be
considered. Papers that feature case study materials based on the author’s
original work are especially applicable to this journal.

environment, the individual and the work family interface. The Journal seeks
scholarly articles, from both researchers and practitioners, concerning
psychological factors in relationship to all aspects of occupational health
and safety. Included in this broad domain of interest are articles in which
work-related psychological factors play a role in the etiology of health
problems, articles examining the psychological and associated health
consequences of work, and articles concerned with the use of psychological
approaches to prevent or mitigate occupational health problems. Special
attention is given to articles with a prevention emphasis. Manuscripts
dealing with issues of contemporary relevance to the workplace, especially
with regard to minority, cultural, or occupationally underrepresented
groups, or topics at the interface of the family and the workplace are

that are critical to today’s organization development practitioners and
human resource managers. Beyond the general principles of organizational

faster than ever before. Technological developments, financial constraints,
expanding markets, restructuring and mergers, new philosophies and
government legislation are all putting pressure on organizations to change
and stay dynamic. Yet the process of change is far from easy, and
implementing it successfully makes considerable demands on the managers
involved. This journal is unique in its ability to set the management and
organizational change and development agenda, by analysing new approaches
and research theories.
Journal
of Psychology and Financial Markets
In The Journal of Psychology
and Financial Markets, leaders in many fields will be brought together to
address the implications of current work on individual and group emotion,
cognition, and action for the behavior of markets. They include specialists
in personality, social, and clinical psychology; psychiatry; organizational
behavior; accounting; marketing; sociology; anthropology; behavioral
economics; finance; and the multidisciplinary study of judgment and decision
making. The journal will foster debate among groups who have keen insights
into the behavioral patterns of markets but have not historically published
in the more traditional financial and economic journals. Further, it will
stimulate new interdisciplinary research and theory that will build a body
of knowledge about the psychological influences on market fluctuations. The
most obvious benefit will be a new understanding of markets that can greatly
improve investment decision making. Another benefit will be the opportunity
for behavioral scientists to expand the scope of their studies via the use
of the enormous databases that document behavior in markets.
